    Good Day!

Monday, September 17, 2007, 04:16 PM EST [General]

Its been very difficult today trying to return speaking normally and without a brittish accent...my friends keep asking me what 'hazaah' means.

This weekend was my second ren faire, first in garb and i had a blast! MRF was a great fair to start with and i must say i did feel kind of lost without the 'sheriff' to arrest people and publicly embaras them for their friends entertainment. However, Ohio's ren fest has a plethera of more things to do and shops to see.

The people, staff and non staff, were amazing as well. chatting and joking....I could go on but i dont want to bore you all, you know the drill...your all rennies!

    ill get to the point...

Favorite event? The Joust, hands down. The shows i found most humorous were the swordsmen, they were arguing how it took guts to wear tights like the ones they had on. the other show was the washing wenches cause they had an audience member run into the open, put on a pair of underware over his pants and screams something along the lines of 'in his man pants he can do anything'. yes, it was great.

Favorite booth? The weapons shops, yeeeees! got my very first katana this weekend. Favorite weapons shop out of all the ones there, i think i was called 'silver, steel and leather'. i cant remember. I'm trying to save the money to get a rapier/sheith/frog.

Favorite game? I have to say the archery, only because i finally beat my cousin at something. i did however get cut by the feathers on the arrow...how odd. the close second was the axe throwing, not cause i played it but because the guy running it handed me the single greatest pickup line ive ever heard in my life. i shant divulge unless asked.

Favorite garb? that id like to see crumpled up on my floor or.....oh yes, never mind. I know it sounds cliche but really the queen's dresses. I have so much respect for her in the aspect of having that heavy of a garb on. I cant begin to imagine how heavy or hot it is and shes entertaining audiences all day. shesh. they are gorgious though, yes thats my fav. garb.

Favorite food? the turkey leg of course. However, i have had a bread bowl but not at a ren faire and can imagine they would blow my past experience out of the water.

Favorite part? ahhh, I do appologize, I'm returning to my brittish accent and old english speech to further elaborate this...

The time to take leave draws nigh as my body and heart are ripped appart...From the journey as well as taking part in the glorious festival, my being drags wearily. My soul yearns for one last fleeting glimpse of the noble thief who has stolen my heart unknowingly. My friends, if they bless me by allowing me to call them that, have received my story with much absorbtion and attentitiveness. Avast! he aproaches as my kinfolk jest at my strange and sudden lack of courage as he passes and has entered yonder chaimbers. My newly acquired friends, tho worn by the world only in that of their bodies, make hast to fetch his lordship so that i might catch a few words of a proper farewell. My kinfolk taunts me at a false return as I'm made a fool at each glance upon this good sirs absence therein. After a forever finally passed, my lord finally emerges, tho it hath only been a moment or so for him to show himself it seemed like twice that for him to come upon me and speak words of greeting for the first time. As he took my had in both his it was like the sun on my heart for a thousand years, his eyes entranced me as I was paralized by the dance of his lips. The farewell came to fast as I was, for the entirety of the moment, at a loss for words. He took my hand once more and bid my kinfolk and I a safe journey and we strode off. I don't think I walked to our vessle, I believe I flew, for my spirit had wings.

Where art tho Sir Johnathan Dee, and will I ever see thee again?
